alkeBULAN is an African wear e-commerce brand that embodies African culture. From the patterns to the fabrics down to the needling, our designs showcase African culture. We use traditional African prints (also known as ankara) to design modern wear for Africans in the diaspora. We are in the business of tackling lack of knowledge, access and jobs in our communities.
Our mission is to tell our ancestral history, provide a platform for Africans in the diaspora to buy African apparels for their daily lives, and provide jobs for the youths of Ghana.

Jacob is a graduate from The University of Ghana (Class of 2021) with a BSC in Agriculture. Fashion has been a family thing so he grew up seeing his dad and two brothers in fashion. Unfortunately he didn’t fully grow up with them as he lost them when he was young. Jacob lost his love for fashion when he lost his family. Fortunately, his love for all things fashion was rekindled in his first year of college when he took fashion 101. Jacob’s vision is to make fashion and designing an attractive venture for youths. Jacob is now the owner of @bloodline_klothing and the Male Wear Designer for @alkeBULANPrints!
